Year 3 Day 262 – “Living the Dream”. Friday, 1/19/2024. Day 8 of 12-day winter 2024 vacation. Day 6 of 7-night Western Caribbean cruise on Harmony of the Seas. We are in Cozumel, Mexico today.
Mexico has a lot of pharmacies. In the Cruise Compass there has been a warning for two days now. Be careful of Counterfeit Medication in Mexico. Apparently counterfeit medication is common in Mexico. Today we walked in the port and up the street aways. It was a gorgeous day. This is one of those ports where you are constantly being bothered to buy something. There are pallets full of bedding supplies on the dock, but not for our ship.

We were back on the ship for lunch, meandered around, took pictures and did a few videos.
What a gorgeous day to sit on the balcony. We were supposed to be on this ship for three weeks. Steve wants to get Clifty Hill 2 house completed, so we cancelled the other two weeks. I should have stayed and let him go back to the Kentucky cold snow.
In the evening the captain announced that the winds will be picking up and we will have some rocky Seas heading back to Galveston and to hold on to the handrails. I haven’t seen those bags on the stairs yet. I am sure they are coming.
We had dinner at the Windjammer tonight and met the sweetest lady – Kristy from the Philippines. She was awesome and wow what a worker. Just constantly working and keeping tables cleaned and passengers feeling welcome.
We found the nicest quietest bar to sit at. The Solarium bar is now our go to place to just sit. It is located at the rear of the ship and overlooks the Solarium. They are open daily from 10am to 9pm. A nice place to relax with a cold alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.
