Cape Liberty cruise port

  • Located on the Hudson River in Bayonne, New Jersey across from New York City.
  • Very easy to get to if flying in for your cruise since Newark International Airport is 10 miles away and about a twenty-minute drive.
  • Only one terminal and both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruise lines sail from this port.
  • Has a really nice convenient parking garage. But be aware sometimes it is full, and the overflow parking area is a bit of a hike with luggage.
  • Must see at the port: The 9/11 Memorial “Tear Drop” which sits directly across from NYC, in Bayonne New Jersey at this port, just the other side of the Statue of Liberty. It is an absolutely beautiful 100 ft. tall monument that was gifted to the people of the United States by the people of Russia in 2006. In memory of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The breaking in the cracked facade forms the shape of the two towers. The giant suspended tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day.
