Year 3 Day 263 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 1/20/2024. Day 9 of 12-day winter 2024 vacation. Day 7 of 7-night Western Caribbean cruise on Harmony of the Seas. At sea traveling from Cozumel, Mexico to Galveston, Texas. Some breakfast pictures from the Windjammer. Great Granola and a freshly made vegetable omelet!! Breakfast for a king and queen.
After breakfast we picked up our free pictures. Each Diamond Plus Royal Caribbean cruiser gets a free 8X10 picture each cruise.
I have to say the employees on this ship have been wonderful. So very friendly. Also, the Crown Lounge has the best best coffee. We never had a real chance to work with Marko Raick the Crown Lounge Concierge, but he was always sitting at his desk with a warm hello.
At noon the closest land is New Orleans at 215 nautical miles. The temperature is 68 degrees Fahrenheit and temperatures are dropping as we get closer to Galveston. We walked the ship and then decided it was a good afternoon to have a hot dog on the boardwalk. I had to taste test one. They are just okay but look at me stuffing my face with one.
We found a duck on that boardwalk. We did re hide it.
Then off to our last dinner of the cruise.
