Year 5, Day 268 “Living the Dream”. Friday, 1/23/2026, Day 18 of 22 day California Zephyr cross country trip, followed by a California coastal drive, and then a 14 night Mexico Cruise – Day 3 of 6 night Cabo overnight and Ensenada Cruise from Los Angeles on Quantum of the seas. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico 1pm – overnight. Since we are tendered here in Cabo San Lucas overnight we decided to just hang around the ship today. Tomorrow we will head into town.
Sent a bag of laundry out. One of the best perks of being Diamond Plus is a free bag of laundry. You can roll and stuff a lot of clothes in that bag
We spent some time contemplating what we need to do when we get home. We canceled our February cruise to get the Wellington completed. Here’s a video tour of our starboard aft balcony stateroom 10628.

In the evening we started wishing we were not heading home on Tuesday. Wonder if we will be delayed. Kentucky is not real good with snow. I was told that first class air travelers are prioritized with delayed travel. We never ever go first class, but we were able to upgrade for very little money.
