Living the Dream Year 3 Day 224 - Day 5 of 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on Adventure of the Seas (Day 11 of 17-day Caribbean vacation) - San Juan, Puerto Rico - Deestimes

Year 3 Day 225- “Living the Dream”. Tuesday, 12/12/2023. Day 5 of 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on Adventure of the Seas. (Day 11 of 17-day Caribbean vacation). We are heading to Puerto Rico today, arriving at 3pm. The stop at Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas was canceled due to a medical emergency last night. We had to head back to Dominican Republic late last night to drop off someone who needed shore side medical help.

At noon we are 16 miles from Puerto Rico. The pilot will come on board at 1:30pm. The channel into San Juan is very picturesque. We had the Royal Burger in the dining room at noon. The burger was excellent, but the French fries were hard enough to break your teeth on. They should have been fed to the fishes and not served. Instead, they were served, not eaten, and will be fed to the fishes anyway with a bad review.

We are in San Juan, Puerto Rico from 3pm – 10pm. There is an MSC cruise ship docked as we pull in. Right at the end of the dock across the street is a Walgreen’s. It is the perfect spot to pick up any needed items. The crew loves this store. Senior Frog’s is right there also. So, if you want a quick off and on the ship. Those are two good places.
