Living the Dream Year 3 Day 241 – Clifty Hill 2 – Bathtub hoisted to main level

Year 3 Day 241 – “Living the Dream”. Friday, 12/29/2023. Clifty Hill 2 – It was a cold cloudy breezy damp snow flurry day. I could not stand being outside in the cold. I went and got a mani pedi.

Steve tried to work on the balcony, but it was too cold. He moved the 350-pound bathtub from the truck himself. He thinks he is Hercules. Ha and now his back hurts. He used the hoist to pull the bathtub up to the main level.

Then more work was done on interior framing. A lot of electrical boxes were also put up. In the afternoon we did a run to the lumber yard and purchased 32 nine-foot ceiling precuts. It is going to be cold and nasty all weekend. Steve needed supplies to work inside. The roads were slick on the way home and we were stuck in traffic due to an accident on our road.

Here’s a link to today’s Amazon recommendation: https://amzn.to/3t4So73 This is a portable scale. I use it every day at home and take it in my suitcase whenever I travel. I try to keep track of my weight even on vacation. It is great. I guess the best thing to say is if it broke today, I would be ordering one immediately.
