Year 3 Day 240 – “Living the Dream”. Thursday, 12/28/2023. Clifty Hill 2 – Balcony Day 4. It has turned really cold now. Working on the balcony is slowing down. Everything goes slower in the cold. The next three days they are calling for snow. We are trying to get the balcony and the front porch on before we finish the siding and go away again.
The cast iron bathtub came today. It was delivered by an 18-wheeler. Funny, but an 18-wheeler has a tough time getting to our house. We met the truck out on the highway and transferred the tub to our truck. We wanted the same Kohler tub that we bought for Clifty Hill. We could not find it anywhere. We ended up ordering from Houzz.com. I was a little leery, but they were great. It was a fast, quick delivery. The other two bathrooms will have showers with 60×32 Kohler cast iron bases. That is the same shower base we used in the upper Level of Clifty Hill. We were able to order them from Lowe’s. We love Kohler products. They stand by their products with a lifetime guarantee. Remember we chipped the cast iron shower base in Clifty Hill. Kohler sent some one right out. We will be there for 28 days. Trying to plan what to do and where to stay is hard. There is so much to do, and we are trying to be economical.
Loving my poinsettia, or should I say my poinsettia is loving the lower-level setting. It watches me on the treadmill. Thank you Sue for this joyous plant.
