Living the Dream Year 2 Day 276 – Day 8 of 14 (Port Canaveral, Florida back-to-back) on Wonder of the Seas

Year 2 Day 276 – “Living the Dream”. Sunday, 1/29/2023. Day 8 of 14-night Wonder of the Seas Caribbean Cruise. We are back at Port Canaveral this morning. We are doing the back 2 back cruise. We had breakfast in the Windjammer buffet. People are more talkative the last night and the last morning of a cruise. Last night we spent a lot of time talking with a couple from Atlanta, Georgia and this morning we had a great conversation with a mother and son from Brooklyn, NY. The best part about traveling and cruising is meeting different people and learning from them. There was a huge number of first-time cruisers on this first cruise. The Space X landing pad with the Falcon 9 booster on it was being pulled into port as we ate breakfast. They use the boosters multiple times. When you look at the pictures. Notice all the burn marks on it.

After breakfast we headed back to our room to get our passports. At 8am our room was totally cleaned and ready to go. We are staying in the same room for the next seven nights. All back 2 back cruisers had to meet in the main dining room on deck 4 at 8:30am. There are 165 back 2 back cruisers on this trip. We arrived at the dining room at 8:15am and they provided our new sea pass room key for this trip. We waited in that room and spent 1.5 hours speaking with a really nice couple we just connected with from Utah. We were in the number one group at 9:45am we were the first group led off the ship.

They kept our old room keys, and we went through US customs facial recognition. It was very quick and easy. We then sat maybe five minutes and were led back on the ship. I saw this guy who was working on getting people to make reservations for the Wonderland restaurant. I had to get a picture with him.

Then I had to get a picture under the big silver hat stage on deck 5 in the promenade.

We did our online muster video and went to deck 5 walking trail. The lifeboat doors were open, so it was a great photography moment.

From the back of the ship, we could see next week’s home “The MSC Maraviglia”. We listened to the music for a while from the dock side bar and restaurant along with the pelicans.

We also were able to get a good picture of our next Cruise ship the MSC Maraviglia.

Cruise ships are crazy busy on the promenade deck on boarding day. The good part about this ship is that there is great customer service. There are lots and lots of people helping with guest services, the internet issues, and drink packages.

At night we went to the Aqua show, “inTENse”. The show was certainly inTENse. Especially the tightrope walker before the show actually started.

I can’t even imagine the amount of food they need to eat to perform with that intensity. It was the best show I have seen in a long time. The cast was all female. The muscles they had in their arms were well defined from all the acrobatics and dance they do. The tight rope walker was awesome. The best part was the choreography. The downside was sometimes the lighting was too intense and I had to close my eyes. Oh, and it was loud.

On the way to the show on the Boardwalk there must have been 50 big and huge screen tv’s with football games playing and a huge crowd watching them in and out of the Playmakers sports bar.

Even when we were watching the show as I looked around there were numerous people watching live football on their telephones.

Today’s product recommendation is for the Rev-A-Shelf. I love this for my pots, pans and lids. The one we recently installed is the 21 inches with a spot on the top shelf for the lids. We will also be installing a smaller one for baking dishes. These are awesome. https://amzn.to/3CzOwwq https://amzn.to/3ZcBuyq
