Living the Dream Day 247

Day 247 – “Living the Dream”. Sunday, 1/2/2022. Took a shower early this morning in the dark. It is supposed to get colder as the day progresses and it will be cloudy all day. Tonight, they are calling for about an inch or more of snow between 8pm and 2am. Can’t believe we are going to be in the cabin through the worse part of the winter. It was in the 50’s at 6am so it was the best part of the day to shower. There is nothing like a cup of coffee and a shower in the morning. I feel like a new woman today. Showered with make up on, and hair done. Wow, what a feeling, no more mountain woman. Yesterday we didn’t go out. So, this morning we were a little surprised at the branches and trees that were down from yesterday’s storms. The creek at the bottom of the hill is racing and swollen with water. The downed trees are clogged up at the bridge we go over to get into town.

The face masks are fully on again at Cracker Barrel. Usually, the restaurant is full on Sunday mornings. It is really empty today. Hmm covid? Or New Year’s weekend? Picked up spackle at Lowes after breakfast

and Steve did more insulating on the upper level in the afternoon.

Today’s product recommendation is for the Rev-A-Shelf. I love this for my pots, pans and lids. The one we recently installed is the 21 inches with a spot on the top shelf for the lids. We will also be installing a smaller one for baking dishes. These are awesome. https://amzn.to/3CzOwwq https://amzn.to/3ZcBuyq
