Saturday May 7, 2022. Boarding the MSC Seashore in Port of Miami today. We drove about two hours from the Hilton Garden Inn in Port St. Lucie. This trip we went through the Port Miami tunnel. Last trip we missed the turn for the tunnel. Going through the tunnel made it quick and easy to get to the cruise terminals.

We dropped off our luggage.

And parked in the parking garage. Here you take a ticket and pay when you leave. It will be $22.00 a day.

The parking garage is across the street from the MSC terminal that is currently under construction. The walk is a little long due to the terminal not being completed.

It was a long experience in a very crowded terminal. It took us about 2 hours to get on the ship. Royal Caribbean from Port Canaveral has the process down pat. Boarding the Independence of the Seas last week was quick an easy.

This ship is the most beautiful modern ship we have ever been on. Of course here we are with mostly no English speaking people. We walked onto the ship at 1:30pm.

It is kind of comforting that the MSC Seashore is the first cruise ship in the world to feature a new air sanitation system, ‘Safe Air’, which uses UV-C lamp technology to eliminate viruses and bacteria to guarantee clean and safe air for guests and crew. This ship is gorgeous. MSC ships are really over the top with glitz.

Here is a video of our balcony stateroom 10272.
Love the charging pads on the stateroom deck.

After checking out our room and dropping off our carry ons we headed to Deck 16 Market Place Buffet. This is the largest buffet area I have ever seen on a ship.

After eating we went outside and viewed Miami from the aft of that deck.

Here’s a video of the Bridge of Sighs and the Miami views from the ship. The glass walkway on deck 16 is really scary. Eight decks over the infinity pool. Yikes.
Wonderful Miami views from deck 16. Aft of Marketplace Buffet.

Look at the Infinity pools on deck 8. This picture is from the aft elevators.

The Jungle pool and bar is a nice place to hang out in the afternoon.

After dinner we explored the ship and came across this show going on. This is not Royal Caribbean.
We then took a stroll outside around deck eight and viewed our room. Our room is one down and one to the right of the middle light.

We also took pictures of the Bridge of Sighs from deck eight. That glass walkway is eight decks up. Super scary.

The water slides are even higher. Like deck 21 or 22.

At the end of the day we come back to our room and someone looked very comfortable in our bed. Hey, I am not sharing my bed with you tonight. No matter how cute you are.

Today’s product recommendations are traveling essentials. 1) Luggage hand cart – we love this cart for easy rolling for easy cruise carry-on bags. Even when you can’t go to your room right away this is so easy to walk around the ship with. Here’s the link https://amzn.to/3s37EOw

2) This large toiletry bag is the best. Steve has the black and I have the pink. We both absolutely love them. Here’s the link https://amzn.to/3v1p6ok and picture
