Thursday, May 5, 2022. At sea on Independence of the Seas.
We left Coco Cay, Bahamas yesterday at 6pm. We are at sea today heading back to Port Canaveral, Florida It is 243 miles from Coco Cay to Port Canaveral.
From the trails in the water, I think we are meandering in circles.
The sun is shining and it is a gorgeous day. We ate lunch in the dining room. It was so nice and quiet.
Captain did the noon announcements and SpaceX is launching a two stage Falcon 9 tomorrow morning at 5:42am and we are going to be in position to watch it. I am super excited to watch. It is Falcon 9’s 12th Space mission. The Falcon 9 will be topped with 53 Spacex’s Starlink internet satellites. They are landing the booster on the Shortfall of Gravatis which we just saw the other day. How cool is that? The pizza line is very long in the afternoon.
Time to say goodbye to new and old friends. We had a great dinner table.
