The birds were back on the wires this morning waiting for work to start. They are probably discussing how the big birds are building a really big nest. They love watching the action.

Sheathing continued today. Almost, almost done. The shed dormer side is starting to look good.








We put one of the high front windows in. The window is over the stairwell and they needed to use the scaffolding to put it in. So, they put the window in before they took the scaffolding down.









There are ears of corn growing. Did you know every piece of silk is a kernel of corn. Corn is germinated from the tassels (male flower) being blown in the wind and the pollen landing on the silk of the ear (female flower) No bees needed for corn.


Spent a lot of time trying to get money back from a canceled cruise today. I have spent hours on hold the last few days. Today, someone actually answered, took the booking ID number, and my date of birth. They them put me on hold and 45 minutes later I hung up. These cruise companies appear not to want to give any money back. Steve’s hair has gone from white to yellow. It is either from the sun or the chlorine water. He used to have nice white hair.
Today’s product recommendations are for keeping the birds happy: 1) Feed them with a great bird seed feeder, and 2) A suet feeder. Here’s the links to these products:
