Living the Dream Day 104

Steve says even after we move into the new house we can continue our outdoor showering. It is really inexpensive and it will save us money. Is he crazy!! I don’t think so. Actually, I know we are not doing that. Don’t the dog house dormers look gorgeous. They actually make the side of the house. Steve will be saying how he loves them in about a month. He has to get over the hard work and heat exhaustion first.

We have been sleeping on this air bed for months now. It started as a queen size. It has stretched so much that we now are using king size fitted sheets on it. Pretty soon the bed will fill the cabin. It just keeps stretching.

It is so dark here now at 6am. Fall is coming, but you can’t tell that with how hot it is.

Went birthday shopping today with my Granddaughter. She will be 18 on Saturday. She is getting old – not me. Came home, made lunch, then supervised and created a punch list of what needed to be done to finish the sheathing. Lol.

We bought 105 sheets of 15/32 plywood for $71.00 each. We have 19 sheets left and went and bought another 20 sheets tonight for $45.45 each. At least they are less expensive now.

We used a lot of plywood on the dormers. With all the angles you need to cut there is a lot of waste.

Filled one of our propane tanks at Tractor Supply. We go through a lot of propane with gas grill cooking every night using the side burner and the grill.

Today’s product recommendations are for keeping aware of your surroundings: 1) Love this indoor outdoor thermometer, and 2) We own and love this five camera Blink Outdoor camera system with the Echo Show. Here’s the links to these products:
