The birds are lined up on the wires enjoying the show. They are making jokes and laughing at the big birds playing in the mud. “Hey Carl, get everyone from the Jones house wire. This show is better and funnier than watching TV through their window. Wilma – bring some snacks, looks like we will be here awhile” . The birds are thoroughly enjoying themselves.
We tried to tar the foundation today, but it was way to wet and rainy even under the canopies. So, we have to wait till it dries a little.
It was a good afternoon to go have some fun at Lowes. We bought twelve bags of type S mason mix. You have to love some of their employees. Today, they provided a prime example of how not to treat your customers. The guys loading the truck didn’t want to be there or were just having a really bad day. They told us that they didn’t get paid enough to load trucks. Wow!! So since they were upset about it, they proceeded to throw the bags into the back of our truck. We also asked for them to give us newer bags that were on a skid up on a higher shelf. They told us we were getting what was on the lower pallets. Well we got home and most of the bags were broken in and were all over our truck. It was a fun time cleaning up the truck.
After the Lowe’s fiasco we get home and a wicked storm had hit the area while we were at Lowes. And of course we left our canopies up and not anchored. They blew out of the foundation area and are destroyed. The birds are really enjoying this s**t show now. I bet they are calling more of their friends and recommending they come and join them. LOL
Everyone keeps asking why we don’t just live in the old house. Here’s some pictures that explain why this old house is getting demolished.
Okay time for a drink. Of course doing after dinner dishes is always fun. Tomorrow will be brighter. Good Night!
