Day – 41 – Living the Dream.
Hard to get a foundation done when it just pours everyday.
The foundation just fills up with water.
You can no longer just walk into the foundation area. So, Steve put up some boards to get into the foundation. So now it is walk the plank ye Matey’s to get into the foundation. Then down the ladder. I can get into the foundation work area easily now.
The flies, spiders, and ticks are horrendous. My legs and arms have huge welts on them. Steve used bug killer around the cabin and house. Hopefully, we will get rid of some of them.
Steve has taken to mixing the Type S cement a bag at a time.
Today it poured, he dumped the cement before it hardened in the wheelbarrow. He figured he was done for the day.
Well, you know you know what happened. Of course, as soon as he dumped the wheelbarrow and cleaned up all his tools. The rain stopped and the weather became nice enough to work again.
Go figure. The farmer’s rubber muck boots and those canopies are life savers.
Today’s product recommendations are: 1) Masonry hand tool set, and 2) a canopy. Both of these items were an absolute necessity. Here’s the links to these products:
