Living the Dream Year 5 Day 331 – The Wellington – Garage Finishing Day 2, Inside front door painted

Year 5, Day 331 “Living the Dream”. Friday, 3/27/2026, The Wellington. 7am and the 8 yards of mulch is here.

Garage spackling is going good. Lots of corner bead being installed.

Inside of front door has been painted. Not black like I wanted, but you can’t always get your way. Steve wanted white. It looks nice and clean though.

I am happy to see a USIC truck in the driveway. That means they should be digging soon to put in the new water meter. USIC marks where underground utility lines (electric, gas, water, or communication) are located. This is done to prevent damage before excavation.

Thoughts to ponder.

Here’s a link to today’s Amazon recommendation: https://amzn.to/4cyi8vf Superfeet All-Purpose Support High Arch Insoles I have these in everyone of my closed shoes. My legs and hips feel fantastic walking. I know they say for high arch, but I am as flat footed as they come. These are perfect. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!
