Year 4, Day 275, “Living the Dream”. Thursday, 1/30/2025. Day 8 of 10 day Tampa to Bahamas trip (Day 6 of 7 night Bahamas cruise on Radiance of the Seas from Tampa, Florida) – CocoCay, Bahamas 7am to 5pm.
We are here today with Utopia of the Seas.
Coco Cay in the Bahamas is privately owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. They acquired the island when they purchased Admiral Cruises. The only people who live on CocoCay are Royal Caribbean employees. Two Royal Caribbean ships can dock at CocoCay at the same time. It is one of the Berry Islands in the Bahamas. CocoCay is a little less than 1 mile wide (east to west). It is a little over 1/4 mile long (north to south). The island handles up to 13,000 passengers per day. We elected to stay on the ship and not hang out at the beach.
Okay, yes the casino is open while in CocoCay.
