Year 4, Day 265, “Living the Dream”. Monday, 1/20/2025. The Wellington – “Living the Dream” – It is a nice cool three degrees.
We are picking up the 50 boxes of hardwood flooring that came in at Lowes. We had to make two trips.
The first load consisted of 26 boxes weighing 76 pounds each. Steve carried them in the front door and up the stairs. That is 1,976 pounds of hardwood. I was the door man.
The second truck load of 24 boxes we decided to park in the garage till Justin could come over in the morning and help. All night long I could hear my car crying. “Why did you leave me out in the driveway. It is cold, dark, and lonely” We placed the bar sink cabinet and butcher block countertop in the bar room. It is going to be a really nice room.
