Year 4 Day 144 “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 9/21/2024. Day 11 of 25-day Alaska to Las Vegas trip. Day 7 of 13-night cruise Alaska and Los Angeles cruise on Brilliance of the Seas. Today is our second day at sea traveling from Hubbard Glacier to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Just hanging on the ship.
We spent some time in the casino. My plants are loving the quiet of the Wellington. They are smiling flowers with no hammering, sawing, and generators running.
At noon time we are sailing towards Pine Island where in 20 minutes we will pick up the pilots and proceed into the inside passage.
We traveled 705 nautical since the Hubbard Glacier and have 233 nautical miles to travel to Vancouver. The captain told us today that we were the closest to the Hubbard glacier that he has ever been. This is our last night at main dining room with a few nice couples and these servers. Servers were excellent this cruise.
By 7pm we are all packed up for tomorrow. We will be changing rooms for the next six nights. The room attendant will move our luggage to our new room. All clothes on hangers we didn’t have to pack up. The stateroom attendant will move them as they are into our new closet.
