Year 4 Day 143 “Living the Dream”. Friday, 9/20/2024. Day 10 of 25-day Alaska to Las Vegas trip. Day 6 of 13-night cruise Alaska and Los Angeles cruise on Brilliance of the Seas. Today is our second day at sea and we are traveling from Hubbard Glacier to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. As of 8:30pm last night we had traveled 1,354 nautical miles so far on this cruise ship. Rough seas today and they canceled the Ketchikan port.

The wind is blowing 60 mph, and the seas are rough at 11am. We are in the Gulf of Alaska. Apparently, we haven’t even hit the actual storm yet. I don’t think today will be a fun day. No one is allowed on the open decks. At noon we are sailing southeast at 16 knots. The wind is like 70 knots. This will follow us all day and night. By 7:30pm we are back in the inside passage and have traveled 1,725 miles since we got on in Vancouver. British Columbia and it is 52 degrees Fahrenheit.

Me and Mr. towel long neck are relaxing reading the compass together.

Things to ponder today! Have to leave you thinking.

Womens Fashion Orthotic Flip Flops: https://amzn.to/4efeh5w These are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned. You can wear them all day and your feet and legs feel great. They come in lots of different colors. Currently, I own one pair. I plan to buy a few more after vacation. They also work great as slippers.
