Year 3 Day 227- “Living the Dream”. Friday, 12/15/2023. Day 8 of 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on Adventure of the Seas. (Day 14 of 17-day Caribbean vacation). Caribbean cruise on Adventure of the Seas. This is day 2 of 2 days at seas traveling from St Croix, US Virgin Islands to Port Canaveral, Florida. Today we are at sea.
I had a mani Pedi this morning. I love the spas on the cruise ships.
The nail tech was feeling pretty seasick. I gave her my sea bands. Hopefully they will help her. It is a windy and bumpy traveling day. The outside decks are now closed. No one is allowed out on deck.
At noon we are alongside Cuba. Traveling at 25 mph. We will be entering port Canaveral at 4am tomorrow morning and docking around 6am. We had lunch in the Main dining room with a couple we met on our Dominican Republic excursion. In fact, she is the lady that cut her leg. Here’s a video tour of the 15th deck Chapel.
As the afternoon turned into evening the ship is really tossing and turning. Yup, the weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew the Adventure of the Seas would be lost.
