Year 3 Day 113 – “Living the Dream”. Wednesday, 8/23/2023. Clifty Hill 2 – Framing Day 7 – First I forgot to wish Koral a big Happy, Happy Birthday yesterday. She is now 18 and has grown from the cutest kid into the most beautiful adult granddaughter. It is so cool Koral, you can now take part in the 2024 presidential election.
Last night they had an impromptu birthday celebration, but Steve was beat and didn’t want to go 40 minutes each way to celebrate. I did see the cutest picture of her and Spencer though. What a good Aunt she is.
For two years we have watched large trucks go by our house filled with logs. It is unbelievable that that many trees can be coming down every day. We are not even sure where they come from.
Okay today was really really hot. Steve came inside for lunch and then we packed it all up at 2pm. The floor joists are started.
We went to Lowes and then drove through the car wash. Don’t do a car wash when it is 95 degrees. In the car wash you have to turn the car air conditioner off otherwise the smell is not nice. Today, I barely made it out alive. It was so hot. I think as soon as I know that the air conditioning is off in the car and the windows are up, I start sweating and getting all excited. I keep thinking what if I get stuck in here. I can’t believe I could even take this picture. I get that paranoid. LET ME OUT OF HERE!!
Justin and Bobi stopped by in the evening after a long hard day of work. A brake line broke in our truck and Justin stopped by to look at them. He is planning to fix it for us.
Thoughts for the day. However, you are feeling it is OKAY! Everyone experiences all these different feelings.
