Year 3 Day 103 – “Living the Dream”. Sunday, 8/13/2023. Clifty Hill 2 – The rest of the plastering has been completed making the foundation officially complete. Tomorrow drainage will be put around and more stone will be put inside.
The first lumber comes tomorrow, and framing will start on Tuesday. There needs to be weight on the foundation before we can back fill. The thought is to have the floor on by next Sunday. I spent some time today reading about the Lahaina, Maui fire. It is so sad and heartbreaking to look at these photos from online.
I started looking at our pictures from October 7, 2022 – October 8, 2022, when we were in Lahaina. These pictures are so nice from of us walking to the post office and the outlet mall. All that area is gone now, and the cruise port is closed.

If you stay still in Science Hill, the sweat bees attack. The storms yesterday took down most of the sunflowers in the side garden.
