Year 3 Day 102 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 8/12/2023. Clifty Hill 2 – Stone was moved into the foundation. More stone is being delivered on Monday.
Then the foundation tarring was started. In the middle of tarring the monsoons came in. The winds knocked down most of the sun flowers. Actually, ripped them out of the ground. It rained 1 1/4 inches in 15 minutes. I was grocery shopping and was totally soaked getting the groceries into the car. On the way home there were three trees in the road from the heavy winds. Steve did get the afternoon home off though. He got a little rest. This evening the sun is out, and we have Tremper Lake in the foundation.
The sunflowers that didn’t get ripped out of the ground from the heavy wind have happy bees.
