Year 3 Day 28 – “Living the Dream”. Tuesday, 5/30/2023. We cleaned up the Lower level so painting can start on the doors and trim, the windowsills can be tiled, and the carpet can be put down.
The utility room is huge and is getting pretty packed with stuff.
And outside, the fields behind and to the side of our house are being planted with corn. We have 2 different style farming here. The commercial farmer behind us is doing no till farming and the farmer across the street is doing traditional farming. I have been reading about the differences. No-till tends to increase soil organic matter in the top several inches of the soil. On the other hand, tillage can act to bury carbon and increase its storage. That said, overall, intensive tillage tends to burn up much of the soil organic matter, more so than no-till. There are many pros and cons for each of them. It seems like it can be debated forever.
Today’s product recommendations are for keeping your skin looking its best at sea and in the sun. My favorite skin care products are made by Elemis. He tends to break out when he uses sunscreen often. He finds the ELEMIS Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads excellent to use. It cleans that sunscreen out of his pores.
