Year 2 Day 365 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 4/29/2023. Day 15 (day 1 at sea traveling from the Panama Canal to Huatulco, Mexico) of 21-night Radiance of the Seas Galveston TX to Los Angeles, CA cruise. Today we are in the Pacific Ocean traveling north. The water is like a lake at 7am. Beautiful warm day!
Heading to breakfast and a mani-pedi at the spa. The floor in the Windjammer was super slippery. We find this a lot. We think it is because of using a dirty mop/water to wash the floor. Every morning at breakfast we listen to the song, “The way it is”.
The pre-made omelets in the Windjammer are dried out and hard as a rock every morning. This morning I couldn’t eat them. Haha, I eat anything.!! I am ready to go home. Where is home?
The spa is huge on this ship. There is a lot of private rooms for massages and other treatments.
At noon we were somewhere in the Pacific Ocean or at least that is what the captain announced. Nearest land was 24 nautical miles from Costa Rica. It is 86 degrees and partly cloudy. Time changes one hour back after midnight tonight. The captain thanked his bridge team, engineers, and hotel service for yesterday. The captain was on the bridge for 13 hours yesterday while going through the Panama Canal.
It is a great night to be out on deck 5.
