Year 2 – Day 242, Monday, December 26, 2022. Later in the day yesterday we had another zoom Christmas with our daughter and her family. I was so excited to see them, I forgot to take some pictures. What a bummer. We miss them so much. Stomach virus has really hit their house, and everyone was a little under the weather. Julianna tried her hardest to open presents and stay awake. Poor thing.
This morning we headed to our favorite store. Yup you guessed it – Lowes! We had to take a longer route since the roads have not been salted here. Remember those huge cliffs with no guard rails. Not going down them. The roads were very quiet with no traffic anywhere. At least it is a little warmer this morning at 14 degrees with beautiful red skies. The saying red sky in the morning sailors take warning is true.
We are getting more snow today.
The stair railings are looking good. Even the angel was watching Steve work.
In the evening we sat by the tree and watched Scrooge: A Christmas Carol (2022)
