Year 2 – Day 194, Tuesday, November 8, 2022. We are back to our Lowes trips. Today we went and bought primer and of course a bunch of other stuff. Steve will be painting the foyer and first floor bedroom before you know it. The price of 1/2 inch plywood is $27.15 a sheet.
When we built The Williamsburg, we paid around $71.00 a sheet. Hopefully it will be at this low price when we finish the garage. Coming home from Somerset the air is smoke filled. There is a fire about 40 miles from us that has not been contained as of this afternoon. It is in Rockcastle County, KY. There are about 1,200 acres burning and Federal forestry fire officials have been brought in. Local fire departments were unable to contain it. As far as the news reported this afternoon no homes have been affected. It has been dry around here, which is the perfect criteria for fires to erupt.
Homemade pizza and salad with yogurt and orange dressing for dinner.
I had to cook dinner, but Steve is working on loading the dishwasher.
Steve actually watched TV while I was cooking. That is a step on the progress of settling into this house.
