Year 2 – Day 115, Sunday, August 21, 2022. We loved the Mexican Restaurant so much we went back and celebrated our Granddaughter’s birthdays there.
Marley was 19 on August 14th and is attending EKU. She was home for the weekend. She has the freshman homesickness thing going and is close enough to come home a lot.
Koral which is Justin’s youngest is 17 and is for the first time an only child and a high school junior. First year ever going to school by herself. Definitely an adjustment for these young ladies.
Also, for mom and dad. Their house is getting quiet.
We had a great time, but a little too short. Sometimes it is nice to celebrate out at a restaurant. I do like home celebrations sooo much better though. It is still difficult to entertain in our house. It is a disaster.
