Year 2 – Day 79, Sunday, July 17, 2022. Steve has been very concerned about someone falling on our stairs with no railing. Falling from the middle level to the lower level is ten feet and you would land on concrete. You really could get hurt. So today he put the one railing on the stairs to the upper level
and made a temporary railing for the stairs from the middle level to the front door foyer.
It is amazing how climbing the stairs is now so quick and easy. Just putting your hand on the railing gives you comfort. The hummingbird wars on the back deck continue. This afternoon there were four of them eating at the same time. That is a lot. Steve said he saw five.
The upstairs second bedroom is almost ready for carpeting. The doors need to be painted yet.
Tomorrow our first dumpster arrives. So, the old house garbage cleanup will begin.
