Day 340 – “Living the Dream”. Tuesday, 4/5/2022. Every day is a run to different stores. Today is no different for the gopher girl. Went to three different plumbing and electrical supply stores. Most of the time I am the only female in the store. Steve sends me out with samples and pictures. Hey what do I know about copper unions, sweat ons, tails, couplings, plumbers’ putty, electricians’ putty, and all kinds of things that basically I have no interest in other than we need these things to get our plumbing working.
The toilet, sink and shower are hooked up.
The one catch is the water is not hooked up from the street to this house. Thursday Steve is going to excavate and lay the pipe to the water connection at the street. We will then disconnect the old house. All water will come from the road to the Williamsburg. In the meantime, we had to put water in the toilet, and sink and tub traps. Poisonous gas comes from the septic if you don’t keep them sealed. Granite company called today. Delivery is May 11th. Much quicker than we thought.
Today’s product recommendations are for finishing a bathroom. The LED antifog back lit mirror is so nice. Also, new bathrooms need new towels.
