Living the Dream Day 316

Day 316 – “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 3/12/2022. Yesterday, we woke up to singing birds and it went up into the 60’s. Today we woke up to twenty degrees with six inches of snow and lots of wind.

There were no birds singing and the spiders are gone. It is going down to 13 degrees tonight. Our heater died around midnight. So, we were back to using the hair dryer for the remainder of the night. We headed to Lowes first thing this morning for a new heater. They were all sold out even though the website said they had three. Headed to Walmart. They had two left. Glad we went out early. There was no one out on the roads. The roads were good in some areas, but ice covered in others.

We had to drain and disconnect all water because our heated hose broke after we got back from vacation. No showers this weekend. Warmer weather returns on Monday. So, the spiders will be back until we exterminate them. I am hoping we are in that house soon. I am not looking forward to the ticks. It is amazing how strong the Kentucky sun is even when it is in the 20’s. By the afternoon the snow has melted a lot.

Today’s product recommendation is for the Rev-A-Shelf. I love this for my pots, pans and lids. The one we recently installed is the 21 inches with a spot on the top shelf for the lids. We will also be installing a smaller one for baking dishes. These are awesome. https://amzn.to/3CzOwwq https://amzn.to/3ZcBuyq
