Day 192 – “Living the Dream”. Monday, 11/08/2021. It was a great exciting day today. I am amazed at how many pictures I took. Steve started up the excavator

and dug a 65-foot-long trench from the new house to the existing septic tank. The drop was twenty-five inches from the house to the septic tank. Justin and Steve worked on putting Schedule 40 PVC pipe in the trench and three cleanouts were installed. You know what that means, don’t you. “Flush away, flush away”. You can flush a toilet and it will go all the way to the septic tank.

I had to make a quick run to Lowe’s to pick up some additional supplies.

We are back to walking planks again. In order to get from the driveway onto the back porch of the old house you have to get over the trench two times.

The rough in plumbing is now ready for inspection. We will be calling for it tomorrow. Steve had to go back up on that high roof again to put the plumbing vent pipes up through the roof with flashing and test caps.

Once plumbing rough in inspection is approved, he will have to go up one last time to remove the test caps.

That green eyed bucking bronco John Deere found a new temporary home.

I guess we do need that detached garage for storing this ride on thing and all the other tools Steve is collecting.
Today’s product recommendations are for keeping aware of your surroundings: 1) Love this indoor outdoor thermometer, and 2) We own and love this five camera Blink Outdoor camera system with the Echo Show. Here’s the links to these products:
