Living the Dream – Year 2, Day 12

Thursday, May 12, 2022. Today is an at sea day on the MSC Seashore. Last night’s show was awesome. Even Steve enjoyed it. After the show we headed to the casino. We usually just go to bed. This morning we headed to the Marketplace buffet. I love the freshly made potatoes with Rosemary, the bacon, oatmeal, and plain yogurt. Fairly healthy and was excellent. Steve hits the Omelette station.

Of course the best part of waking up on a cruise ship is the views

Here’s a video of the Marketplace Breakfast Buffet.

We then headed to the casino and now we are even. No money lost, no money gained. Just hung around and enjoyed the ship the rest of the day. We explored more of the ship.

Walked deck eight for a long time to get some exercise. After almost two weeks I am starting to grow. The whirpool on deck eight is huge, very clean, and the view fantastic overlooking the water.

We went to lunch at the Central Park Reataurant. They really had some issues. They had a lot of new employees and they were very confused. We walked out before dessert was served. I did have the best salad with chicken for lunch. The dressing was so light and yummy. Steve had cheese steak and he really enjoyed it. We then headed up to the buffet and found a chocolate bar. It looked so nice.

We also bought a few pictures this afternoon. The photographers on MSC are great. I will be so happy to be able to speak with other people. It is so difficult to understand other passengers on the ship. By the pool the other day I actually typed into Google and handed my phone to a woman. She was very excited and was smiling and playing the charade game even more after reading my phone. After that every time I see hee she is smiling and waving at me.

Tonight was Italian night. Our waiter and assistant waiter at dinner took their masks off so we could take pictures. They look so different without their masks. What excellent service they provided. We sat at a table for eight by ourselves every night. The food was not that good.

I love love Chicken Parmesan, but I could not eat what was served to me. The spaghetti was good served with it.

A few nights of the cruise, I could not eat some of the sides served. It was like they dumped a whole container of salt in them.

Animals with bad vision in my bed.

Today’s product recommendations are traveling essentials.                                                    1) Luggage hand cart – we love this cart for easy rolling for easy cruise carry-on bags.  Even when you can’t go to your room right away this is so easy to walk around the ship with.  Here’s the link https://amzn.to/3s37EOw

2) This large toiletry bag is the best.  Steve has the black and I have the pink.  We both absolutely love them.  Here’s the link https://amzn.to/3v1p6ok and picture
