Day 175 – Friday, October 22, 2021. While we are away work is still being done on the house. The HVAC crew is working on finishing their rough in. Last night there were thousands of birds on the wires outside our hotel room. They must like a lot of electricity running through their bodies. Also, our security cameras showed coyotes in our yard back at the construction site. Now I really know after dark I must stay in the cabin.
It was wonderful to take a shower in the morning. It didn’t matter that it was cold and dark outside. The best part was not having to look for spiders. The hotel had no tea which I find rather strange. Steve says to be careful in the early hours when going to put toothpaste on your toothbrush. Colgate and Cortisone tubes look the same. Yuk!!
Trees are starting to look more colorful the closer we get to PA.
Funny. I want to say home and not PA. We met Jenna. Jamie, and the grandkids at Hershey in the dark.
How soon before they are taller than me? Jacob is really stretching to try and get taller.
We had a great time. I love these beauties!!!
And the boys kept trying to scare me.
They all love the boomerang. You notice, I watched. Rides are not my thing.
I was pleasantly surprised. I really thought I wouldn’t like it. Of course, being with grandkids can’t be beat.
I loved the Monster Mash light show.
This evening sky is so appropriate after Hershey in the Dark.
