Steve cut the rebar
and set it in the basement stone.
The rebar is used to mark the height of the cement. It helps in the leveling process.
The basement is now ready for cement and the 3000 psi cement is ordered. First delivery date is Tuesday at 8am. It will come in two trucks. The hydraulic thumb came today and Steve was like a little kid at Christmas opening the box. Then the work started. He couldn’t get the pin out so off to Harbor Freight we went.
Once he got the proper tools, in this case some punches it was a piece of cake.
The pin came right out.
He is still working on getting the new thumb installed.
The thumb will be used to grab things off the old house. We are getting close to destroying that rat infested old house. Yeah.
