We have had enough of the sweat bees attacking us. We have never seen anything like this. The amount of sweat bees here is incredible. Today was time for self defense and Steve went hunting. He is an excellent hunter. His weapon of choice was Hot Shot flying Insect killer. By the afternoon there were a lot less bees.
It was a very hot day. 97 in the shade at 4pm.
It was much to hot to work on the roof all day. They roofed the front of the shed dormer and the apron of the shed dormer before lunch.
After lunch they put the dog house dormer windows in,
sheathed some of the last part of the roof in the back of the shed dormer,
and got the sliding glass door ready to insert. We bought a United sliding glass door. It comes in pieces and you put it together. United is a local company that makes things to order.
There is just a tiny bit of roof left to do and the cap needs to be put on the whole roof. Another trip to Lowes today to get wood trim for the basement windows, more ladder brackets, and lots of Hot Shot flying Insect spray. Wouldn’t know what to do if I didn’t visit my Lowes friends everyday.
