We spent last night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clarksburg, West Virginia. We are headed to our daughter’s house in Pennsylvania for our granddaughter’s annual dance recital. There was no way we were missing this special event. We also could use a little time away from the compound. Due to Covid-19, we had to order our breakfast the night before from a limited menu for a specific time.

The hotel room felt huge after living in a ten by twelve cabin.

The funny thing is our cabin’s air mattress is more comfortable then the hotel bed.

The bathroom and inside shower were also very big.

It was nice to shower inside, but I was amazed that the shower head spray and water pressure is much nicer in our outdoor shower.

After breakfast, we checked out and drove the rest of the way to our daughter’s house in Pennsylvania.

On the drive, we figured out what lumber we wanted delivered. We ordered it from Lumber King building supply. It will be delivered on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 after our return. We have to keep our unattached building materials close to $10,000. We will be ordering smaller amounts of materials, because our builder’s risk policy will cover for theft for unattached building material up to $10,000. Wood is very expensive now due to the pandemic. It is like gold and due to that there is a higher than normal risk of theft.

We had a fun dinner with a who could make the best milk mustache contest with our grandsons.

After dinner, Steve had a little one on one treatment for his tennis elbow.

Today’s product recommendations are for laundry days: 1) Since I have been doing my clothes at the laundromat my delicates have been ruined. So using some mesh laundry bags has helped. These are great, and 2) of course some nice laundry baskets. This way laundry is sorted and ready to put in the washers. Here’s the links to these products:
