Day 15 – Living the Dream.
This morning we were dragging. Slept a little later and got to the homesite a little later. The first thing we did was place an order for a large Werner aluminum ladder. Steve fell off the cabin roof yesterday because he was using a ladder to small for the job. Coming down off the roof he can’t see the ladder to place his feet. He said that is the first time he every fell off a roof and he has done a lot of roofs in his building career. He is fine. He fell in the back of the cabin where the property drops off. Therefore, he rolled when he hit the ground. Of course I was in by my computer and never heard him.
Ugg, so today I stayed right there while he finished roofing the cabin. Also, I assisted with ensuring his feet went on the ladder rungs when descending.
After he finished the roof. He put the door and window in.
It is looking good. We want to have the cabin done by Thursday. Then on to the foundation.
