Living the Dream Day 14

Day 14 – Living the Dream.

Started our day at Lowes. Lowes shopping is an everyday occurrence. Looking for a riding tractor for me to mow with. The funny thing is I have never ever mowed a lawn. I am so spoiled.

We started using our microwave to store our nuts. We are afraid the mice will eat them if we don’t.

The pile of brush from the trees is almost gone. There is a lot of wood to get rid of yet though.

Left standing is a crying tree trunk. It is amazing how much sap is puddled on the top and also dripping down the outside. I feel sorry for the tree.

Very exciting time today when the mini excavator was delivered.

The salesman gave Steve a hat and said to me, “I don’t think you will wear one. He gave me a pizza cutter instead. I guess I look like I eat a lot of pizza.

Steve had to right away start playing with his new toy.

I spent a lot of the day supervising the cabin building. This is starting to remind me of naked and afraid. Ha – no nakedness here though and I have Mother’s day roses.

Here’s a link to the Hamilton Beach microwave. Great for nut storage. We also buy all our nuts from Amazon. Much better prices than the stores.
