Year 6, Day 64. “Living the Dream”. Friday, 7/03/2026, Clifty Hill 3. Day 24 Foundation block laying. And it’s another hot sunny day leading up to July 4th. This is day three of working till noon. It is just way to hot to stay in the afternoon sun. At least the flowers are enjoying this weather.
Not many blocks are being put down, but slowly it is getting done. Work started at 5:30am this morning. It gets light at 5:45am and the sun rose at 6:23am. By 10:00am Steve is a muddy mess from working arounf the foundation. The garage is now ready for the cap blocks. Plastering around the garage and master bedroom area is done. At least the part that will be under ground.
