Justin and Bobi took a stroll through the excavation site and found some fossilized brachiopod shells, and Calamites fossils. Kentucky is world-renowned for its fossil-rich sedimentary rock. Fossilized brachiopods are the most common fossils found in Kentucky. How cool is that. They are the official state fossil.
