Year 4, Day 312, “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 3/08/2025. The Wellington – Happy Women’s Day. The slogan for 2025 Woman’s day is “Empower, Inspire, and Elevate”. On this day remember how incredible you are. Today is day twelve of sanding, spackling, and mask wearing. This is the final sanding on the third coat of spackle. Then we are on to painting. Steve runs the power sander and then finishes corners and edges with hand sanding. That power sander is like fighting a bull. I hear him in the foyer repeating to himself “GIT HER DONE”.

The air is constantly filled with spackle dust. Even though the bag on the power sander catches most of the sanding droppings. By the end of the day we are mostly cleaned up and ready for paint.

Things to ponder today! Have to leave you thinking.

Here’s a link to today’s Amazon recommendation: https://amzn.to/4j1uXjs Louisville Ladder 4-Foot Fiberglass Step Ladder, 300-Pound Load Capacity: This is a great little ladder. I can easily move it around and use it. I am 4 feet 10 inches. So it is small enough for me to use and large enough for Steve who is 6 feet 1 inches tall to use also. Great to keep around in your home. Perfect for painting trim you can set your paint can on one of the rungs. Steve says that is what he likes about the ladder. The price on Amazon is awesome. It also comes in larger sizes (6, 8, and 10 feet).
