I just read that consumers are expected to spend over $25 billion on Valentine’s Day this year. This is happening in the United States. Candy is the most popular Valentine’s gift followed by flowers and greeting cards. An evening out and jewelry follow that for popularity. United States spends the most money out of any country on Valentines day followed by the United Kingdom. I was surprised to read that women spend more than men on Valentine’s day. Also Arizona’s birthday is celebrated on February 14th. The traditional Valentine’s Day flower is the rose.
