Year 4, Day 271, “Living the Dream”. Sunday, 1/26/2025. Day 4 of 10 day Tampa to Bahamas trip (Day 2 of 7 night Bahamas cruise on Radiance of the Seas from Tampa, Florida) – Sea day traveling from Tampa, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas. It is a very calm relaxing day. First an early morning manicure and pedicure.
Then spent a little time in the casino before heading to Cheers with an Officer. It was a very educational lunch with people from Finland. One of the table companions was deaf. I never realized that there is no universal sign language. There are 142 different ones. After lunch it was time for stateroom videoing. Here’s a video of our balcony stateroom 7662.
This is not a great room. This is a guaranteed balcony for us. Therefore, Royal Caribbean gave us the room number after other people has chosen theirs. Hey, it is a lot less expensive option for a balcony. With guaranteed rooms you are rolling the dice. We have had great big rooms before with better locations. This is small, on the darker side and the shower is very small with a shower curtain. The balcony is very big but has no privacy. Tonight is Dress to Impress. My dinner was lovely, Iceberg Wedge Salad and Herb-crusted Salmon.
After dinner in the evenings we have started having a cup of tea in the Windjammer. It is a very quiet place to reflect on the day.
