Year 4 Day 88 “Living the Dream”. Saturday, 7/27/2024. Clifty Hill 2 – Summer travel is always like heading down a barrel alley. Did you know that Orange barrels are manufactured according to strict government standards that prevent them from penetrating a vehicle during a high speed collision. Industry-wide, as many as 750,000 orange barrels are produced annually at a cost of roughly $120.00 per barrel. It is a $90,000,000 million dollar industry. There are about a dozen companies that sell the orange barrels in the United States. These construction barrels are traffic control devices and are used to channel motor vehicles through construction sites. Construction barrels are primarily found in the United States, but are occasionally used in Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica. They may not be orange in other countries though.

Things to ponder today! Have to leave you thinking.

Bug Zapper Racket: https://amzn.to/4fVMUPm I can’t say enough about how much I love this electronic fly swatter bug zapper racket. We have so many wasps, sweat bees, and flies in our house all the time. Since we are living in a new construction site there is always a door open. The garage doors are open a lot with generators running and batteries charging. I have found the best place to get the flying insects are when they land on the patio screen door. We can actually zap five or more at a time. It sounds cruel but better then numerous bites on my legs. Steve even was stung just sitting on the couch.
