Living the Dream Year 4 Day 83- Clifty Hill 2 – Shed construction day 6, Side doors and shelves, many legged bug

Year 4 Day 83 “Living the Dream”. Monday, 7/22/2024. Clifty Hill 2 – The shed is coming along with new side doors and shelves,

Found a lovely looking disgusting many legged bug today. How disgusting is he. I did get a good picture before he ran away and hid. Apparently, this bug is a House centipede and is actually an arthropod not an insect. They are predators that hunt smaller insects by injecting venom through their fangs. They range in size from very small to large with flat, segmented bodies connected to one pair of legs per body segment. They can actually have anywhere from 15 to 177 pairs of legs and their heads contain large antennae, a small mouth, and a claw-like structure that contains a venom gland to kill prey. OMG, I am literally afraid to sleep in my bed. That sucker was on my little jewelry box in the corner bedroom we are sleeping in.

Things to ponder today! Have to leave you thinking.

Bug Zapper Racket: https://amzn.to/4fVMUPm I can’t say enough about how much I love this electronic fly swatter bug zapper racket. We have so many wasps, sweat bees, and flies in our house all the time. Since we are living in a new construction site there is always a door open. The garage doors are open a lot with generators running and batteries charging. I have found the best place to get the flying insects are when they land on the patio screen door. We can actually zap five or more at a time. It sounds cruel but better then numerous bites on my legs. Steve even was stung just sitting on the couch.
