Living the Dream Year 4 Day 9 – Clifty Hill 2 – YAG surgery follow up with floaters, Still leaks, need leak detector Justin

Year 4 Day 9 “Living the Dream”. Thursday, 5/09/2024. Clifty Hill 2 – This morning was a YAG surgery follow up visit before more plumbing. Steve has a bunch of floaters now and feels like he is wanting to swat the bugs flying around all the time. Immediately after the surgery Steve saw clear again, except for the floaters. The floaters are debris from the surgery. The Ophthalmologist says it could be six months before they go away. The younger you are the longer it takes. Steve is young for cataracts. Steve had an early onset cataract and had cataract surgery done on his one eye about 15 years ago. We are thinking this was due to his years of welding. Exposure to infrared light from welding can cause cataracts over time. Exposure to infrared light can heat the lens of the eye and produce cataracts. Last week he had YAG laser capsulotomy. That is a laser surgery that helps you see clearly again after posterior capsule opacification (PCO), which occurs when scar tissue forms behind the lens implant after cataract surgery. PCO causes the posterior capsule, a fine membrane behind the eye’s lens, to become cloudy, resulting in fuzzy vision months or years after cataract surgery.

After this it was back to the house for more plumbing work. At the end of the day, we still have leaks. I think we need the leak detector Justin. Lol.

Things to ponder today! Have to leave you thinking.
