Year 3 Day 355 “Living the Dream”. Sunday, 4/21/2024. Day 20 of 28-day European Vacation – day 18 of 18-night Northern Europe MSC Euribia cruise. We are at sea today. We are traveling from Bilbao, Spain back to Le Havre, France. It is unbelievable that we have been on this ship 17 nights.
The time has flown by. I love the view of the ocean every day. It seems as though we just got on. We are invited to a complimentary dance class today. Sounds fun to do on our last day, but I have a scheduled manicure for that time. There is also a MSC Voyagers club party for Diamonds today.
Tomorrow, after departing the ship I will do my official review. But I do love most things on the ship. I would not hesitate to go on any MSC cruise ship. I have to wonder if they are not the cleanest cruise ships at sea. At breakfast in the Marketplace eating a fantastic freshly made vegetable omelet and sipping a cup of nice rich coffee we watch the sun rise from the sea. Absolutely Breathtaking!!!
It is sad we are leaving the ship. We do have another 8 days before we are back in Kentucky. After breakfast it was a little casino time. Then a video of deck 5. Here’s the link to that video
Then time for another manicure pedicure before leaving the ship. The cost for a manicure and pedicure with shellac on the hands and regular polish on the toes is 140.30 euros. Thandi Christine from Zimbabwe is the sweetest nail technician. I wanted to take her home. My hands and feet look great. I was also going to get my hair color touched up and a wash, cut, and style, but I was too cheap. It was 59 euros to color my roots and 79 euros to wash, trim, and style my hair. Plus, you then add 15% gratuity.
We picked out three pictures to purchase for 31 Euros. That price is after a 40% discount for being diamond. I just couldn’t not add a photo to my cruise albums for this trip. One of the pictures was huge. It is not going in any album. Every cruise we take we get two photos. Royal Caribbean provides two free because we are diamond plus. Oh, I had a slice of charcoal pizza for lunch. I didn’t taste any difference in the flavor or texture. The color was a turn off though. I found myself fighting with my brain. Yes, Dolores it is okay to eat. It will not hurt you.
It is a sad day when the departure information and luggage tags are left on your bed. The worse part about the last night is packing up. We have to have our luggage outside our door by midnight. Our disembarkation time is 8:20am. Not many passengers are disembarking tomorrow. First disembarkation time is 8:20am and last is 8:40am. It is not one of the major ports for passengers embarking and disembarking.
