Year 3 Day 290 – “Living the Dream”. Friday, 2/16/2024. Clifty Hill 2 – Happy Birthday Justin. It was a day of cleaning, realtor showing where I had to be out of the house for two hours, cooking, and birthday party planning. The gluten free carrot cake and gluten free chocolate cake are still not frosted this evening. Yikes, we want to sell this house, but I wanted to start those cakes at 6am. Bobi and Justin came by in the afternoon and were life savers in getting the food together. Jenna, Julianna, and Jacob were supposed to be here for a family birthday party for Justin and a surprise one for Jacob. Well surprise or maybe no surprise, American Airlines did not cooperate. The Philadelphia to Lexington flight kept getting delayed. They even boarded the plane and had to get back off because the bathrooms had an issue. They finally landed after 6pm and it was a 1 1/2-hour drive home in sleet.
Steve worked on more inside framing. Birthday partying is now set for tomorrow, but everyone is here safely tucked in bed.
Things to ponder today! Have to leave you thinking.
